Girl eats nothing but chicken nuggets for 15 years

From the Life’s Rich Pageant file:

Horrified doctors learned of the teenager’s chronic 15-year addiction after she collapsed and was rushed to hospital struggling to breathe.

Factory worker Stacey, who has never touched greens or fruit, was found to have anaemia and swollen veins in her tongue.

Don’t need to check the recipe to know that Paula Deen recommends butter in addition to the cheese and the bacon.

Crushed wasabi peas form the crust on baked chicken. A smidgen of chickpeas in the mixture, too.

Crab season is on in San Francisco!

Too bad they couldn’t figure out an agreement before Thanksgiving. My mother was pretty disappointed that she couldn’t serve massive crabs alongside turkey and stuffing and such.

Clearly Dope Cake/Pie: I would water-board a second cousin or great aunt for this thing.

helphelp:

Thanksgiving is in three days. Please do not forget your cherpumple.
It’s a cherry pie, a pumpkin pie, and an apple pie, each baked within different kinds of cake and slapped together in a pile of deliciousness. Duh.

First cupcake burgers, now a Cherpumple… won’t somebody think of my arteries?

New York people! Filipino food in Brooklyn!

Philly Pinoy’s offerings would seem a honey trap for foodies—Filipino dishes unfamiliar to the American palate, like ginisand ampalaya, a sautéed bitter melon, and bopis, a spicy concoction of offal that would not be out of place at some nose-to-tail joint a neighborhood over. But it’s not the foodies that eat at Philly Pinoy, and it’s not the vacationers; it’s the crews from the ships.

Five words: Oxtail stew. Mouth is watering.

Man eats one month of McDonald's, then runs marathon

Reminds me of when I “competed” in the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Guy that won the Charlotte sectional by wolfing down more than 30 dogs in ten minutes told me he was running a marathon two weeks later.

Lesson: I wish I was in the kind of shape where I could eat anything I wanted for just one day, with no repercussions.
